Race: Yuusha Brave
Timeline Pull Point: (Please give us as much context as possible, such as including a short summary in addition to the episode/issue number.) I am pulling Shadowmaru at the series end- "Farewell Boss." Episode 48- Where Deckerd ends up coming back/staying on earth after everything is said and done with the Fahrzeugs.
Canon History:
Shadowmaru's history starts with his training with his prototype/brother Kagero whose sole job was to hone Shadowmaru's skills at being a ninja. Later its pointed out that Kagero also helped him get the tank form-which wasn't actually in his initial build plans. He'd had to defeat his brother who'd gone seemingly rogue shortly after making himself known to the Brave Police team, but instead Shadowmaru allowed Kageros escape. Only to lose Kagero to a madman whom had initially seemingly wiped his AI chip and installed him into a submarine. Maru was unable to save his brother but his brother allowed him to escape the sinking submarine with what little awareness he still had.
Having no ability to unite with any external equipment or team partners for a short period Shadowmaru seemed somewhat antiquated or at least he felt something along those lines. But his courage proved to be his strongest suit as when he seemingly was defeated in protecting the city-the galactic police the Hijiss gave him an upgrade into the Brave Cannon to save the day and restored him.
Like the others in the battle of the Fahrzeugs he evolved beyond his programming.

Personality:
Seemingly stoic at first Shadowmaru is actually quite personable-just very laid back. He isn't easily riled unless you hit the right 'buttons' and does have somewhat of an ego. But he is very respectful especially once his respect has been earned. His heart is in the right place and his sense of honor knows no bounds. He'll lay his life if that is whats asked of him to uphold justice, even if it means fighting his own brother to restore the peace.
Not one to stir the pot if something upsets him more often then not he keeps quiet about it unless he's piqued, otherwise he'll go brood in privacy. Appreciative of the care of his friends he recognizes when care is shown to him and doesn't blow it off. Especially when its from Yuuta (lil boss as he calls him) as he knows the boy genuinely cares for his feelings. He may get aggravated at some selected team mates but its out of care.
Maru does have a mild sense of humor and quirks that he displays depending on the situation at hand, not hesitating to bonk some sense into a team mate if its needed or humoring the more fun loving of the group in play.
Powers/Abilities:
Shadowmaru is the resident ninja of the Brave Police. Created early in the Brave programs development, he was trained by his prototype(brother) Kagero. He is a multichanger, capable of mech form, police interceptor, jet, tank and doberman(that he refers to as a wolf). Also later in the series he was temporarily able to turn into a large gun/cannon however due to the time in the series that form appeared and when the series ended it is unsure if it was a permanent addition to his shifting capabilities, as it had been added by the Hijiss(space police). Maru is the one sent in when stealth is needed as his multiple capabilities make him efficient in retrieving information or tracking someone down. He is very intelligent and observant, being a ninja.
Inventory: He is only coming with his standard weaponry depending on the form he shifts into. Shirukens, katana, police issued pistol primarily as a mech. His tank form has a built in cannon, and his jet form basic guns. Interceptor I cannot recall any arsenal. Should he be capable, he himself turns into the Brave Cannon. (Though for RP purposes due to uncertainty in cannon if he retained the ability I will not be playing him with the capability to turn into it anymore)
